And just like that, October is officially over! This year seems like it has flown by and we can’t believe the next big items on our calendars are the winter holidays. We know that this time of year can get chaotic and stressful with varying holiday plans, gift giving, and everything in between. While traveling away from home for a vacation may not be the norm, we are seeing more and more folks opt for this experience during the holidays. Night of a Million Lights, November 12, 2021 – January 2, 2022. For fifty-two spectacular nights, visitors can immerse themselves in a stunning light show in a fairytale neighborhood. Take a stroll among the millions of lights and the sparkling tree trail, have a holiday treat and enjoy a holiday marketplace, and even take a tram through the illuminated story village. A magical event, all supporting a wonderful organization – Give Kids the World Village.
Festival Of Trees, November 13-21, 2021. Held at the Orlando Museum of Art, this annual event features an amazing display of designer decorated Christmas trees, wreaths, gingerbread creations and more! This event features a silent auction, pop up shops, a Toyland Town area for children, and a café.
Dazzling Nights at Leu Gardens, November 19, 2021 – January 9, 2022. Lights, music, and interactive elements are used to complete this transformation of Harry P. Leu’s 50-acre gardens in Orlando.
Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit, October 2021 – January 2022. This exciting and immersive experience is making its way to Orlando, just in time for the holidays! Taking place at the Orange County Convention Center from October 2021 to January 2022, you do not want to miss this one. Lose yourself in the surrounding 500,000 cubic feet of monumental projections animating Vincent Van Gogh’s lifelong work. From his bright landscapes and night scenes to his portraits and still life paintings, this is an unforgettable event.
Holiday Blooms at Leu Gardens, December 1 – 31, 2021. Celebrate this holiday season with beautiful blooms at Harry P. Leu Gardens. Hundreds of vibrant poinsettias along with unique seasonal flowers and foliage help to create a magical experience. Sure to get you in the holiday spirit! This is the first year for this event to be taking place.
The Nutcracker, December 4 – 20, 2021. Beginning in December, Orlando Ballet will be presenting the beloved holiday classic The Nutcracker at Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts. Join the cast as they journey through the Land of Sweets, meet the Mouse King and Sugar Plum Fairy, and more beloved favorites.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra, December 18, 2021. Back with their highly anticipated winter tour, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra brings a unique mix of progressive rock and holiday spirit to all of their platinum performances. As the group celebrities the twenty-fifth anniversary of their album “Christmas Eve and Other Stories”, this year’s celebration at the Amway Center will showcase a multi-sensory experience.
